Since an early age, one of the most common words used to describe Kristin was “organized.” She remembers sorting & decluttering the family linen closet, drawers & pantry at about 8 years old. The organization gene must run in her family too—as children, she & her sister would regularly switch bedrooms so they could organize & design a new space often.

Kristin grew up in Kansas City, MO. She ventured south to complete her Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in business at The University of Tulsa. While there will always be a part of her heart in KC, she felt a special connection to Tulsa & made it her permanent home post-graduation.  Kristin led a team & business channel for a personality assessment firm for 12 years before transitioning to a career as an entrepreneur & bringing 2B Organized® to Oklahoma. Kristin is incredibly thankful for the opportunity 2B Organized® provided her to combine her business & leadership skills with her passion for helping others organize & simplify their spaces.

When she’s not working with clients, you can find Kristin spending time with her family & friends. She lives in Tulsa with her husband Nick, daughters, Hannah & Emma, & rescue dog, Zeke. Her family is spread out across the U.S. so she loves visiting or hosting family & friends as much as possible. Kristin & Nick love to golf together & look forward to when their young daughters can play with them.

Fun Facts!

    • Our house is divided when it comes to the NFL. I’m a Kansas City Chiefs fan & my husband is a (die hard!) Las Vegas Raiders fan.
    • I have always loved handwriting. I’ve taken courses in calligraphy & taught myself hand lettering.
    • My favorite things include coffee, brunch, patios, champagne & traveling.
    • I was President of my sorority in college.

Organizing Hacks

    • Keep a small shelf for shoes in the garage by the back door. This limits dirt tracked through your house & prevents shoes from piling up in the house. Return shoes to closets at the end of the day or week.
    • Make or buy personalized coasters with each family member’s name on it. Place coasters on the kitchen table or counter & keep each family member’s cup on their coaster to prevent new cups from being used (& washed) daily.
    • Big decorative tubs in a kid’s room or playroom make it easy for kids to help clean up & contain bulky toys easily.
    • Keep a bin in your car with year-round essentials—sunscreen, umbrella, ice scraper, hand wipes, paper towels—so you always have what you need when you’re on the go.

Favorite Products

    • Drawer dividers are game changers!
    • Baskets are practical & instantly warm up any space.  Use big baskets for cozy blankets in a living space & smaller baskets for hand towels in a bathroom or for papers in your office.
    • Plastic zipper pouches are great for containing loose items (e.g., card games, photos, cosmetics, markers).
