Karlee Alves is the owner of 2B Organized® Sacramento and co-owner of 2B Organized®. You could probably say organizing is in her DNA. Growing up, she would visit friends’ homes and reorganize their kitchens and pantries. On the weekends, if she wasn’t watching Martha Stewart Living or Trading Spaces, her parents would often find her redecorating and reorganizing her bedroom.
Karlee’s passion for assisting busy families blossomed during her early years as a nanny and mother’s helper. At the age of sixteen, she got her first job at Starbucks as a Barista. She thrived in the fast-paced environment and developed a genuine love for people; hearing their stories and creating an exceptional customer service experience. Karlee’s genuine love for people and hospitality enable her to create an unparalleled, high-touch client experience to each project she undertakes. Karlee has an innate ability to identify the underlying challenges within the flow of the homes she works in. With an impeccable eye for detail and a creative brain, Karlee is able to prioritize function and aesthetics, allowing her to create organization systems that seamlessly integrate into each client’s unique daily habits and lifestyle. Her ultimate objective for each client project is to craft highly intuitive, efficient and beautifully organized spaces that create a sense of peace in our fast-paced world.
Karlee believes in practicing what she preaches. She understands organization and consistently editing out the “extra” as life evolves is essential in successfully fulfilling her roles as mom, wife, business owner, and friend. Karlee resides in the El Dorado Hills with her husband, John, and their three young daughters, who keep them very busy. In her free time, you can find Karlee at hot yoga (Essentia water in hand), indulging in some from of self-care, restyling her own home, or booking her next rejuvenating getaway.

Karlee’s favorite organizing hacks:

Set up a donation bin in your home (somewhere easy to access is critical). Add outgrown kids clothes or unused items to this bin so you can easily make a donation run when you’re ready—giving back to yourself and others.

Keep things simple! In a perfect world, all of your items would be put away at all times, your clothes would be folded neatly in each drawer, but the reality is, there is no such thing as perfect. Life is beautifully chaotic. Set yourself up for success by being realistic about the systems you implement. Give yourself some GRACE. Aim to bring in less and strive for progress over perfection. Your home doesn’t have to be perfect, but it is crucial for your home to support you and your family.

Create a designated “lost + found” bin or area in your home. This will allow all of those left behind items that need to be returned to their owners from piling up on your kitchen counter or getting mixed in with your stuff.

I do a lot of cooking & grilling! I have a lot of kitchen gadgets & even more spices & rubs & stuff for the grills & smokers. Karlee came in & totally organized my pantry so not only can I find what I want but made me realize that some other parts of my kitchen were a better fit for some items. PLUS my wife is happy & no longer complains about how messy all the stuff in my pantry is. : ) I do all the cooking in my house & keeping the wife happy is just as important as keeping her well fed! Karlee made the move to our new home so easy, so flawless, so seamless. She came to our previous home, took inventory of everything we intended to move & planned how everything would fit into our new residence. Imagine our surprise when we walked into our new home with everything we owned, unpacked, organized & labeled! And…that’s not all! Our refrigerator was fully stocked with groceries! Everyone needs a Karlee! She is a true professional & a lovely person.
I hired Karlee, the owner, to help one of our sellers (I’m a realtor) move. My poor seller was a complete wreck with her husband transferred in L.A & she was up here with 4 small kids trying to get ready so I could put the house on the market. Well we really thought it would take at least 2 weeks since there were piles everywhere. Karlee came in & was never a bit flustered. She completely overhauled the entire home & did it all in 3 short days. We got on the market faster & also got multiple offers, over asking because it showed so well. Then we hired her to move our office. We seriously had piles & dumped them in the middle of our room. She worked tirelessly all through the weekend & when we came in on Monday we couldn’t believe it. She had gone to the container store & completely overhauled & labeled all these bins so we could easily find things we didn’t know we had. My favorite was her technology bucket. It had all our phone plugs & computer accessories. Now we have made her a vital part of our business. We refer her to all our clients as well as other realtors who need anything from pantries to closets, or garages organized. She is definitely our most valuable resource to help get our clients from flustered to relaxed & she completely removes the overwhelmed feeling that anyone goes through when buying or selling a home. I just hired her to do my home, can’t wait!!
Karlee and her crew were amazing for our garage makeover!! We had so much stuff, I was nervous. We have a three car garage and never had a car in the garage. They came in the first day and got everything out. Second day they organized and found a home for everything that was staying. We had huge garage sale on Saturday. About a year ago I started seeing posts about organization services. I knew this was something I desperately needed, but unfortunately I live in a location where there wasn’t a service available. Karlee held a virtual party to organize my pantry & she was amazing!!! She is so creative in the way she thinks about organization & truly made every part of my pantry not only beautiful, but functional! Karlee was fantastic ! As transplants from the Bay Area, we had a FULL POD of 30 years of garage storage which included tools, hunting gear, memorabilia & photos. Our new garage was FULL & overwhelming! It took Karlee approx. 8 hours to fully organize, label & store EVERYTHING in its proper place. UNBELIEVABLE. When she said she could wipe it out in that amount of time (& she did!) it was worth every dime to have Karlee come in & save the day and my sanity!
