Melanie Dixon – Mid-Missouri
I’m Melanie Dixon franchise owner of 2B Organized in Columbia, MO. I specialize in residential and commercial organization and move management. I launched 2B Organized Mid-Missouri in September 2015 and I serve Columbia and the surrounding communities in Mid-Missouri.
I’m involved in the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Network, Nexus and Columbia Welcome Basket. My article “Organize Your Move” was featured in the Spring/Summer edition of Relocating in Columbia magazine.
When I’m not making spaces pretty, practical and efficient, I love spending time at Missouri State Parks with my family, finishing DIY projects around my home, or enjoying a book on the covered porch.
Bringing the latest trends in organizing to help customize the best solution for all my clients is my passion. Being organized means knowing what you have and knowing where to go to find it.

Melanie enjoys working with clients in their storage spaces. This is the “stuff graveyard” until you take time to revisit the treasures and memories. The valuable items can get new life being displayed and honored. The other items can be better organized by donating the stuff that no longer seems important.
While it is a team effort, Melanie will do all the heavy lifting as we work together on decision-making. The process is a collaborative effort to rid your space of clutter and create peace of mind. No piles are left behind means everything that stays will be organized, and everything that leaves will be donated or recycled. One of her many rules is “purge before product.” There is no way to know what bin or basket you need to buy until you’ve determined what you need to organize. Melanie will keep the project on task and offer tips and advice along the way.
Melanie loves her husband, son and their dog named Bird. As a family, they spend a lot of time outdoors. The perfect outdoor day used to involve a hammock and beverage… but as a mom it has upgraded to camping, hiking and boating. The Dixons are currently on a quest to see all of Missouri’s 88 State Parks and Historic Sites. They are learning so much as a family and making some fun memories.
